Almost every conversation about AI eventually reaches the same uncomfortable fact. All of it runs on infrastructure owned by a very small number of companies.

That is not a philosophical complaint. It is a practical one. When compute is concentrated, so is pricing power, so is access, and so is the ability to decide who gets to build.

A number of teams are working on the alternative. Today we are announcing a partnership with one of them: Nebulai.

Who Nebulai are

Nebulai is the team behind OpenCompute, a decentralized, programmable compute layer that turns idle GPUs and CPUs into a permissionless global network. It handles the work AI actually demands: inference, model training, data processing and distributed rendering, all without routing through a centralized cloud provider.

Most decentralized compute projects hit the same wall. Contributing means configuring hardware, installing software and understanding a stack most people have no interest in learning. The supply exists, but the friction stops it reaching the network.

Nebulai removed that step. OpenCompute supports browser-native compute activation, meaning a machine can begin contributing simply by opening a browser. No installation. That is a meaningful design decision, because a network like this only works at scale, and scale depends entirely on how easy it is to join.

The network runs on three roles. Worker Nodes contribute CPU and GPU power to execute tasks, earning based on hardware capacity, uptime, task completion and reputation. Verifier Nodes independently validate what the workers produce, alongside handling scheduling and synchronisation. Delegators back the network without running hardware themselves. Tasks move through encrypted channels, with support for data encryption, anonymous computation and zero-knowledge proofs.  Notably, Nebulai describes OpenCompute as supplying compute to developers and agents. They are building for a world where autonomous agents are consumers of infrastructure, not just people, which is the same assumption underneath everything we build.$NEB is the token underneath it, paying for compute and API calls and rewarding the people supplying the hardware.

Who we are

Ozak AI builds agentic intelligence for traders. Our flagship product, Ozak AI Eon, came out of private beta after more than 100,000 users and is now open to everyone.

Ask Eon a question in plain language and specialist agents work across technicals, fundamentals, derivatives positioning, on-chain flow and news, returning a single reconciled answer rather than a pile of fragments. It runs a live signals engine across the whole market, portfolio analytics spanning five chains, and non-custodial execution.

Our own architecture is built on decentralized infrastructure rather than a single provider's servers, for the same reason Nebulai exists. We do not think the intelligence layer of finance should depend on permission from anyone.

What both teams actually agree on

Two things, and the second one is the more interesting.

The compute AI runs on should be open. Not as a slogan, but as a design constraint that shapes what you build and what you refuse to build.

The work should be verifiable. Nebulai does this through independent Verifier Nodes checking Worker outputs, with cryptographic tooling behind it, so a result is confirmed rather than assumed. We do it by publishing the full reasoning behind every signal Eon produces, including the specific readings that triggered it and a conviction score, and by publishing our own hit rate with the misses included.

Different layers of the stack, different mechanisms, same refusal to ask anyone to take it on faith.

What comes next

The demand side of AI compute is not slowing down, and neither is the concentration on the supply side. Networks that make contributing genuinely easy, and make the output genuinely checkable, are the ones that will matter as that gap widens.

Ozak AI and Nebulai are approaching that from different positions with the same set of beliefs, and there is real ground to cover between two teams who agree on it.

More soon.

Ozak AI x Orion Agents

Ozak AI and Orion Agents are partnering around a shared conviction: autonomous systems handling real money should be verifiable, not taken on faith.
